Elite Elevator of New York helps building owners and property managers navigate elevator and lift inspections, required safety testing, documentation, and regulatory compliance throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas.
Inspections & Required Safety Testing
We provide the labor and technical support for applicable annual inspections and Category 1 and Category 5 safety testing, as well as other testing required by the applicable equipment code and local jurisdiction. When required, tests are conducted in coordination with an independent, qualified third-party inspector who witnesses the procedures.
- Inspection and test scheduling and equipment preparation
- Required test procedures with independent third-party witnessing when applicable
- Coordination with inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction
- Inspection results, reports, and supporting documentation
Hassle-Free Inspection Management
Once Elite is contracted to manage a customer’s inspection services, we proactively track the applicable inspection and testing intervals, coordinate with independent inspectors, and schedule the required work promptly. Our goal is to give owners and property managers a more hands-off, worry-free experience while helping them meet their obligations.
Deficiency and Violation Remediation
If an inspection reveals deficiencies or violations, we evaluate the findings, explain recommended corrective action, and provide proposals for authorized repairs or upgrades. We can also coordinate follow-up testing and inspection when needed.
Documentation and Clear Communication
We provide the relevant inspection and testing documentation for customer records and communicate findings so building owners understand the results and any next steps.
Requirements That Fit Your Equipment
Inspection procedures and schedules depend on equipment type, original installation date, adopted code edition, and jurisdiction. Our work is planned around applicable safety standards and the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction.
